Tim Ashley

Tim is an LPL Investment Advisor Representative dedicated to educating individuals and families and helping them pave a path to financial security.  Tim’s goal is to eliminate financial illiteracy.  His focus is to help his clients  build fiscal confidence and develop a sound understanding of critically important financial concepts designed to enable asset growth, asset protection and a long-term financial strategy.

Tim joined the financial services industry in 2014.  Prior to his financial services career he worked as an operations executive at Time Warner Cable for over 23 years where he held key leadership positions in engineering, field operations, and quality assurance.  Additionally, he worked as a broadband consultant for several large service providers.

Tim also has a passion for advocating for diversity and inclusion.  His mission to promote financial literacy in underserved communities remains a critical focus in helping families achieve the American dream.

His corporate experience taught him the importance of planning and execution to successfully achieve results.  He applies this approach daily in servicing his clients.  

Tim is a Colorado native and graduate from the University of Colorado, Boulder where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.  Tim is married with four children and currently resides in Northern Virginia.  Tim enjoys football, basketball and golf.
